Just had to post a review for this wonderful home! This was absolutely the best holiday season we have had. No better place to spend the holiday season than in Naples at the Mermaid Cottage. Our whole family was able to stay together comfortably with all of the comforts of home. We opted to order the use of the private chef and daily maid service which was a real luxury. The home was beautiful and set up to handle a large family. It was warm the entire stay so we spent lots of time soaking up the sun at the beach and around the pool. Kids swam till midnight some nights! (In december ~ can you believe it?). There are so many things happening in Naples during the holiday season that you can't miss. They make it snow downtown in the streets and have music and entertainment all up and down the old Naples area. Kids loved the snow that wasn't cold! What a treat! The best thing was the private beach! No crowds like at the public beaches we tried and beautiful large park with showers and restrooms. We walked a few blocks down the beach for drinks at the Sunset bar while watching for the green flash which seems to be one of the most popular activites each evening at sunset. Rum runner's at the Sunset bar were recommended on the cottage website (www.naplesmermaidcottage.com) and they were fabulous! A perfect Naples drink! No wonder it is a tradition of the locals. Played Golf and Tennis at the Beach Club which was also just a few blocks away. Nothing is very far from this location. Had our run each morning along the white sand beach and think we found paradise! So glad we planned this holiday way in advance! I agree with all of the other reviews.....The cottage is enchanting!

My wonderful family and I Just Returned from Naples, Florida ...........Home of powder white Beaches and Florida Sunshine! I have to say that I want to live there year round. The Mermaid Cottage was enchanting, comfortable and beautifully decorated. ~~~~~~~~~Restaurants and shopping are all just a few blocks away! All 10 of us had a wonderful time and were very comfortable....The cottage was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed for a perfect stay~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Kids and Grandparents had a blast and we ate at some amazing restaurants ~ There are so many it is hard to decide! We Played lots of Golf and basically enjoyed the wonderful sunny days thinking of all of our friends at home in the snow! ~We Loved the Private Beach! So Relaxing. We tried some of the other public beaches and they were all very crowded so this was a huge perk to have available. I would highly recommend the cottage to anyone who wants a very central location in the heart of Naples that is close to everything. It is great for families as the layout is spacious and each person can have there private spaces along with large gathering spaces when you all want to be together.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~We come to Naples every winter and it only gets more beautiful each time! This is a city that is vibrant and thriving~~~~~~~~~~~~~~So much to do! Just one thing to mention .........if you want to stay at the cottage, book it in advance so you are not disappointed............It is very popular!

Just wanted to say that we had the most wonderful time at this lovely home. Everything we need was provided for us. Beautiful beaches, great shopping and perfect weather everyday. Very hard to go home!

Vacation with children and friends~8 kids! Had a wonderful time. The home was beautiful, clean and spacious and afforded a lot area to spread out. The master suite was huge and we enjoyed the oversized jetted tub. The kids lived in the pool! So many restaurant to choose from and they were all wonderful~~~we are planning our next trip!

I would highly recommend the MERMAID COTTAGE to anyone who is visiting Naples. Makes the vistit enchanting. Spent last few weeks of summer vacation with kids,cousins, Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents. Had a wonderful time in this beautifully furnished home. We utilized the services of the private chef several times for dinners that were amazing. We also opted for daily maid service that was recommended. This really sealed the deal. Kids loved pool and private beach. The beach was more beautiful than imagined~~white powdery sand~~calm water that is perfect for young children. Beach bar at the Beach Club was a favorite sunset spot! The naples pier was a favorite too. This city is absolutely wonderful~~~can't even begin to describe it. Girls loved shopping on 5th Av and at all of the high end designer shops at Waterside. GOLF was great at some great courses. Overall, one of the best vacations we have had. IDYLLIC memories made that our families will cherish forever. We will definitely book again.

My family and I travel to The states often and have come to love Naples. The Mermaid Cottage is beautifully designed and yet is still a warm, welcoming, comfortable, family home. We especially liked the private beach! No fighting for parking. You can walk to the beach restaurants or to the spa or to play golf or tennis at the Naples Beach Club. Really the nicest place we have stayed in Naples!

BOOK IT NOW! Don't hesitate.....THIS IS GREAT! I want to thank all of the other reviewers for the fantastic recommendation. We could not have picked a nicer house or location. My girlfriends and I decided to treat ourselves and get out of the cold. The home is beautifully furnished and we each,basically,had our own personal suites. Every room of the house has a view of the wrap around veranda and pool. There is a great out door eating area with plenty of seating and lounge chairs. Naples is amazingly warm........even in the winter! The beaches are beautiful and the private beach is great if you don't like crowds. We tried a different, fabulous restaurant every night and spent tons of afternoons at the Beach Club Sunset Bar- Just a short walk from the private beach. Don't miss the Naples pier.........great for a short walk after dinner or just about any time. I could go on and on.........Just don't hesitate, this property books fast! I already booked another stay with my husband and kids!

We have been vacationing in Naples for 30 years. This is the best House we have ever rented anywhere! Lots of room Kids and Grandkids. Beautiful yet comfortable and relaxing. Already booked again!

Beautiful, relaxing, real "Old Florida" feel! Lush and tropical with wonderful beach. We can't say enough about the comfort and beauty of the home. Naples is a beautiful city with lots to do...Great fishing and the beaches are the best in the country!

Wow! Great house!.....Actually a bargain. We love Naples and shared home for a month with some friends.....Beautifully furnished!The pictures don't even do it justice! Great pool and large private yard. ( excellent for kids too) Took lunch and drinks to private beach every day...pure heaven! So convenient! Because the beach is private we had it all to our selves most of the time. We also walked up the beach to the Naples Beach Club to watch the sunset and listen to music. (GREAT FROZEN RUMRUNNERS) They have a great outdoor bar and several restaurants. ALSO FULL SPA SERVICES, BOAT AND JETSKI RENTALS. If you have never been to Naples ...the restaurants are fabulous....tried a different one every night. The house is less than a mile from 5th av, Third St. waterside shopping and the Mall.....Also lots of Golf courses to choose from. We have been visiting so often ...we may buy soon....Definitely want something close to this house because of the private beach... You can not have a bad time here-It's impossible! Truly Paradise! Thanks Guys for sharing your beautiful home!!!!!!!

We have stayed here twice now. Once last Christmas for 6 weeks. We came back for Summer holiday (4th of July). This home is beautiful. Great for kids too. Each room is beautifully furnished. Naples has so much to do ...there is always an event, art fair, great restaurants, fishing and boating. We have been spoiled by the Private beach that goes with this house. Nothing else like it. I don't think we would stay anywhere else. With 5 children, there is plenty of room for eveyone and much more cost effective than getting a few hotel rooms for this time period. The owners are great! Very easy to work with....makes vacation a joy.

Just a note to say thank you for a wonderful birthday! We have traveled all over the world and this is one of the nicest homes we have stayed in. It is furnished like it should be in a magazine. I actually think it was on HGTV (on one of their design shows. It has a covered veranda that overlooks the pool area - great to relax with a cocktail. Right in the heart of Naples, the location is close to everything! The new waterside shops are amazing - Louis Vitton, Gucci ect. So close to Fifth Av district with all the restaurants and shopping. I just want to say that the private beach is the best in Naples. We have stayed in other homes there but the beaches are much more crowed because anyone can use them. This beach is only available to people who actually live in this small section and have a membership. There is a private parking area with a full time attendant. It also has showers and restroom facilities and a park. I don't think there is another beach like this in Naples. You can take a picnic, drinks ect. and spend the day. Believe me you will love this house..........It is first class all the way!

Wow! Great house!.....Actually a bargain. We love Naples and shared home for a month with some friends.....Beautifully furnished!The pictures don't even do it justice! Great pool and large private yard. ( excellent for kids too) Took lunch and drinks to private beach every day...pure heaven! So convenient! Because the beach is private we had it all to our selves most of the time. We also walked up the beach to the Naples Beach Club to watch the sunset and listen to music. (GREAT FROZEN RUMRUNNERS) They have a great outdoor bar and several restaurants. ALSO FULL SPA SERVICES, BOAT AND JETSKI RENTALS. If you have never been to Naples ...the restaurants are fabulous....tried a different one every night. The house is less than a mile from 5th av, Third St. waterside shopping and the Mall.....Also lots of Golf courses to choose from. We have been visiting so often ...we may buy soon....Definitely want something close to this house because of the private beach... You can not have a bad time here-It's impossible! Truly Paradise! We have stayed here twice now. Once last Christmas for 6 weeks. We came back for Summer holiday (4th of July). This home is beautiful. Great for kids too. Each room is beautifully furnished. Naples has so much to do ...there is always an event, art fair, great restaurants, fishing and boating. We have been spoiled by the Private beach that goes with this house. Nothing else like it. I don't think we would stay anywhere else. With 5 children, there is plenty of room for eveyone and much more cost effective than getting a few hotel rooms for this time period. The owners are great! Very easy to work with....makes vacation a joy.

Just a note to say thank you for a wonderful birthday! We have traveled all over the world and this is one of the nicest homes we have stayed in. It is furnished like it should be in a magazine. I actually think it was on HGTV (on one of their design shows. It has a covered veranda that overlooks the pool area - great to relax with a cocktail. Right in the heart of Naples, the location is close to everything! The new waterside shops are amazing - Louis Vitton, Gucci ect. So close to Fifth Av district with all the restaurants and shopping. I just want to say that the private beach is the best in Naples. We have stayed in other homes there but the beaches are much more crowed because anyone can use them. This beach is only available to people who actually live in this small section and have a membership. There is a private parking area with a full time attendant. It also has showers and restroom facilities and a park. I don't think there is another beach like this in Naples. You can take a picnic, drinks ect. and spend the day. Believe me you will love this house..........It is first class all the way!
